Sushila has obtained her federal lab technician capacity certificate (CFC) in Biology in Geneva. 

After two years in the plant biology research field, she moved to Bern at the Federal Institute of Virology and Immunology to strengthen her experience in molecular biology, microbiology and biochemistry and specialized in biotechnology. 

She joined the Martin Lab in August 2023 to help on various ongoing research projects.
