Boris studied biology at the University of Geneva. He obtained his PhD in Molecular Cell Biolgy in the lab of Matthew Freeman at the University of Oxford. During his PhD, he worked on the role of the rhomboid-like proteins iRhoms in oncogenic Ras signalling. He joined the lab in February 2021 to study the early steps of the pheromone-sensing pathway.
