Contact/Job
Postdoctoral Researchers
Applications from motivated and talented postdocs in cell biology, structural biology or biochemistry are welcome at any time. Although internal funding may be available to support positions from time to time, all applicants are strongly encouraged to seek external sources of funding, such as FEBS, EMBO, HFSP, Marie Curie, etc
For a spontaneous application, please send a motivation letter describing your research interests, past scientific achievements and motivation to join our group, your CV and the names and contact details (emails) of three referees to Sophie Martin. Postdoc applicants should typically have published at least one first-author paper in a competitive peer-reviewed journal.
The Martin lab is currently recruiting a postdoc for a project at the intersection of cytoskeleton and condensate biology (read more).
PhD Students
Prospective PhD students are welcome to contact us at any time. Recruitments will take place through the International PhD school of Life Sciences at the faculties of Medicine and Science: https://lifesciencesphd.unige.ch/
Masters Students
If you are a master student interested in spatial organisation and cellular dynamics, the Martin lab offers exciting master projects. Projects are typically multi-disciplinary, including techniques such as molecular cloning, molecular genetics, live-cell imaging, correlative light-electron microscopy, or biochemical methods. If you are interested to join the lab, please contact Sophie Martin. Click here for more information on the Master in Biology at the University of Geneva.
