Growth control by TOR signaling pathways

Division, accumulation of mass (growth) and death are all fundamental aspects of cell behaviour. All three processes are highly regulated and the loss of this regulation can have direct medical consequences.

The Loewith group is a member of the “Swiss Network for Interdisciplinary Education in Chemical Biology" – SNE Chemical biology.  This association federates chemical biologists into a network that promotes and reinforcesinterdisciplinary education and research in chemical biology in Switzerland. For more information about this dynamicassociation of researchers please visit https://sne-chembio.ch.

Students interested in pursuing SNE’s highly interdisciplinary Master's programme in Chemical Biology, jointly organized by the UNIGE and EPFL, are encouraged to inform themselves at: https://sne-chembio.ch/master-chemical-biology/.
